Sarah’s January Favourites

So after the longest January EVER I can finally talk about my favourites. It feels like I’ve a LOAD of favourites for my face so I’m going to talk through those first and then later on come onto my more lifestyle favourites.

I have loved this stuff for a while back it’s back into my everyday makeup now as I have been looking through my skincare and makeup for products with SPF. I hardly have any! Waxbox – November

You all know that I’ve been loving Waxbox for ages now and every month a lovely box of wax goodies gets delivered. I’ve loved finding new brands through the boxes and also seeing brands that we’ve worked with be featured too. Wish Upon a Star Simmering Granules from Regent House – “A perfume scent which is sweet, sugary with undertones of berries.”
These smell gorgeous, can’t wait to try these!

Sweet Grace Votive Candle from the Bridgewater Candle Company – “Illuminate the preciousness of life and effortless beauty of passionate fruits radiating with sparkling tea and classic patchouli.”
I’m not a great fan of patchouli but this is quite delicate. It’s a lovely mix of scents. See their light a candle donation here.

Waxbox – October

I love this time of year and I’m super crazy excited about Halloween. Actually that comment extends to Sam too, we love Halloween!

But anyway… Waxbox for October. I knew this one would be a good one and it SO lived up to that!

Luxurious Melts Butterscotch Wax Melt Review

I always love coming across new brands (and scents) on a daily basis. In my June Waxbox I was sent two wax melts from Luxurious Melts, Butterscotch and Tropical Twist.


I was really quite gutted to use these two little melts up as I realised that amongst my stash of candles I don’t have anything butterscotch or toffee!

These wax melts are really long lasting (at least 12 hours from each one) and the throw off them is awesome. I used this in our open plan living space and the butterscotch smell filled the space quickly.

I really loved these and I’ll be making a future purchase and there’s so many other scents to choose from too. I also spotted that they have a fudge scent!

Waxbox – September

You will know how much I love Waxbox now. For years we have wanted a candle subscription box just like this one.

I was recently saying to Sam how I was hoping for more autumnal scents this time around and look what Waxbox sent…
