Wax and Wicks started their own subscription box earlier this month. For £8 a month you get 6 scented soy wax packs, each pack contains 3 mini melts. They were kind enough to send me a box to review and obviously these are my honest opinions.

I was sent a box of wax melts to try out from Wax and Wicks. We’ve told you about them before HERE and I have been super impressed with the melts that I had tried in the Waxbox subs.

I’ve been a little indecisive with what scents to have in the home recently, I think because the weather in the UK has got particularly crazy. One minute sunshine and the next hail. I’d like to get my washing drying outside soon please!

I was sent six scents and each bag has three melts inside. The bags are each £1.50 and the website says that each soy wax melt lasts around 6 hours. I’d say I got a bit more out of them than that, especially mixing a few scents together too. Read More

Wax and Wicks Blackcurrant & Nectarine Candle Review

We’re both a lover of fruit based scents and when we were asked to review for Wax and Wicks, this Blackcurrant and Nectarine candle was the one we both were intrigued about.

All of their products are made using natural soy wax and it really does give a clean burn. Their prices are very affordable with a large tin being only £6.50!

You all know that I’ve been loving Waxbox for ages now and every month a lovely box of wax goodies gets delivered. I’ve loved finding new brands through the boxes and also seeing brands that we’ve worked with be featured too. If you make candles or any other wax goodies then I’d highly recommend contacting Waxbox to be feature.

Wish Upon a Star Simmering Granules from Regent House – “A perfume scent which is sweet, sugary with undertones of berries.”
These smell gorgeous, can’t wait to try these!

Sweet Grace Votive Candle from the Bridgewater Candle Company – “Illuminate the preciousness of life and effortless beauty of passionate fruits radiating with sparkling tea and classic patchouli.”
I’m not a great fan of patchouli but this is quite delicate. It’s a lovely mix of scents. See their light a candle donation here.

We love finding new candle companies and today I’m here to tell you all about Wax and Wicks. This Yorkshire based candle company actually started out as a hobby but became a business in 2014. Their aim is simple, to make high quality affordable products that smell beautiful.
