In my favourite little random gift shop that sells quite literally EVERYTHING I found a jar filled with Oscar&Bromley Chocolate Chip Cookie Wax Melts…I was sold at chocolate. I bought two just to try them out.

Calico Creations Wax Melts Review
Yesterday was like Christmas here at Vanilla and Lime, a GINORMOUS package arrived for us from our friends at Calico Creations.
They sent us some fabulous candles and enough wax melts to last us a long long time.
Honestly we were amazed at all the different wax melts scents, like Buttered Popcorn, Fireplace, Mexican Fried Ice Cream and Butt Naked, we were most intrigued by that one and right now it’s probably one of our favourites, I couldn’t tell you exactly what it smells like but it smells gorgeous, a real fresh scent.
They have a huge list of scents to choose from and we went through the Sophie’s Choice-esque task of picking our favourites so that you wouldn’t have to choose, seriously get one of each of these:

PS. Ladies, you know when a gorgeous man walks by you and you breathe in the smell of his muscles, cologne and manliness? Well that’s what “Dude” smells like, it made us weak in the knees. We imagine it’s what Michael Fassbender smells like.

When two girls spend most of their days dealing with work, babies and boys they rarely get much time for themselves, not that they complain(too much). So it’s the little things that make them happy, like relaxing with a cup of tea and lighting the wick on a brand new candle or when they read about new candles being launched.
Sure they get excited about shoes and throw cushions like most girls, but candles are a whole different story with Sarah and Sam.
They both have stashes of wax tarts and have great discussions about which ones are nicer and about mixing different scents together.
They even talk in code about which candles they’ve bought and will buy so as not to get “the look” from the men in their lives who have to live with the addiction, and who usually have to foot the bill for the candle splurges.
They have it pretty good though; an actual serious problem to Sarah or Sam is when their clicky things run out of fuel or when a company discontinues one of their many favourite candles; tears have actually been shed.
They know everything about candles; what to do with them and what not to do, they know millions of tips and tricks and where to go to get the best deals.
