Sam’s July Favourites

Even though in July I celebrated three birthdays, mine included, all of which were so much fun, it was a very busy month work wise and the heat has been really getting to me. I live in Ireland, but lately it’s felt like I live on the actual sun! I’ve been basically trying to hibernate and avoid it, I’m far too ginger and pale to be outside. 😛 That hasn’t stopped me from shopping and buying lots of new goodies, I mean, really nothing could. LOL.

Drowsy Sleep Co. State Of Sleep Pillow Spray Review

This product was gifted to me in exchange for a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I think it may be because I’m getting older, or perhaps it’s because I’m always working, but I LOVE going to bed, that doesn’t mean I always get a good night’s sleep though. Actually the majority of the time my brain is going bonkers, stressing, planning, and thinking too much, just doing everything but letting me get to sleep. So super annoying.

I’ve tried a lot of natural remedies to try and help me get to sleep quicker, some have helped, some not so much.

When the folks at Drowsy Sleep Co. asked me to take part in their 7 Day Drowsy Challenge, I would test our their State Of Sleep Pillow Spray for seven nights and then do a review, I was pretty much like “YES! YES! GIVE IT TO ME NOW!”

Serenity Glow Rest Synergy Massage Candle Review

I completely forgot I had this candle from Serenity Glow to review and let me tell you, I found it when it was most needed!

I’ve always said that I’m not a fan of lavender,  generally it gives me crazy headaches, but last week I had been totally overdoing it with work stuff and everything else and I started to feel really rundown. Then bamn! I woke up one morning with like a cold and a pounding headache.
Now, the normal thing to do would be like relax, take some medicine, just chill out, but no, stubborn ass Samantha here decided to power through and keep working. Bad idea. I just made myself worse. I eventually admitted defeat.
Then whilst looking for things to help me relax a bit I found my Rest Synergy Massage Candle from Serenity Glow.
Yessssss! Rest!! That’s what I need.
Because I was sick and my sense of smell was pretty much gone, the lavender elements didn’t bother me and I already had a headache so why not give it a try.
