Latest In Beauty Subscription Box Review

I’d never even heard of Latest In Beauty until I saw a random unboxing on YouTube, so I checked it out and there was such an amazing choice of products, I couldn’t not try it out.

If you haven’t tried it it yet, basically how it works is you choose 3, 6 or 9 of your favourite products to try each month, all with free delivery, so you know exactly which and how many products you receive. Your first month’s subscription will come in a gorgeous limited edition make up bag which is chic and reduces unnecessary packaging – win-win!

I was so happy when mine arrived, I mean look at that cute pink packaging and you get a free card print with it, and being a huge Disney / fairy tale fan I really loved the one I was sent, I’m gonna frame it and put it in my office.

The travel bag that all my products were in is amazing quality and the perfect size for all the necessities I “need” to bring when travelling.

So what products did I choose?

Salon Science HYDRASOOTHE™ Cooling Spray (150ml) –  This HYDRASOOTHE™ Cooling Spray gives instant relief to hot, itchy scalps while refreshing hair.  – £10 for 150ml.

When I was choosing my products I sorta wanted to get something from every category, they did have quite a few hair products to choose from but when I read about this I knew it was meant for me. I have the most sensitive, itchy and annoying scalp, it sometimes behaves but this heat and humidity hasn’t helped at all. I waited to try this until my scalp wax extra hot and extra itchy and seriously it was instant relief! Now I use it even if I feel a little tingle, I’m hooked. I’ll definitely purchase this again.

Dr Organic Dead Sea Mineral Bio-Plasma Mud Mask (100ml)This completely organic treatment penetrates deep into the facial pores removing all excess oil and impurities and stimulating new cell regeneration.  – £8.29 for 100ml.

This is such a great deep cleansing mask, it’s really revitalising too, made my skin feel really fresh and new.

NUXE Prodigieux® Precious Scented Shower Oil (30ml)An ultra-sensorial shower oil that gently cleanses, leaves a satin finish and envelops skin with a delicate fragrance.£10.50 for 200ml.

I’m a big NUXE fan and I’ve been so eager to try this shower oil, and wowza is it good! It’s like washing with liquid gold, makes your skin feel like silk and it smells incredible. I’ll definitely be buying a full size of this. It made me feel so fancy.

NUXE Rêve de Miel Nourishing Hand and Nail Cream (15ml)Silky and non-greasy, this hand cream with Honey, Sunflower, Precious oils and Vitamin E nourishes and repairs dry and chapped hands. It also protects hands from premature ageing.£11 for 75ml.

I have and LOVE a few products from the NUXE Rêve de Miel range so I was excited to try this. It’s lovely, makes your hands so soft. It does take a while to soak in and is quite strongly scented so I like to use it at night time before I go to sleep.

Orange Grove Candle From The White Company (62g)This mini Orange Grove Candle from The White Company will make the perfect addition to your box. Uplifting and comforting, this blend of fresh orange peel and green leaf combines with the earth, wood richness of vetivert.£20 for 140g.

I’ve never tried anything from The White Company before that’s why I chose this, I was really excited about finally getting to try out one of their candles. Honestly, I wasn’t really impressed. With a name like “Orange Grove” you’d expect it to be all kinds of orangey, to me this smelled like orange was just one of many elements. It’s nice, quite a calming scent, I just think it was stronger, the scent throw wasn’t all that, even in a small room.

Kneipp Devil’s Claw Herbal Back Comfort Bath Oil (20ml) – Make your soothing bath work twice as hard with this clever herbal bath oil from Kneipp – it uses devil’s claw extract to boost your circulatory system and ease aching muscles. – £9.95 for 100ml

I have a dodgy spine so when I saw this I knew I had to get it, but luckily for me my back has been great *touches wood* so I haven’t used this yet. I’ve heard great things about Devil’s Claw so I have a feeling this will be a great product.

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure™ in Blue Streak (14.7ml)Sally Hansen’s famous Complete Salon Manicure nail polishes are renowned for how much they pack into one bottle. The long-wearing, gel-shine formula lasts for up to 10 day chip-free, plus it’s infused with a keratin complex to strengthen nails by up to 64%, a growth treatment, a base coat AND a top coat all in one. £8.99 for 14.7ml.

Turquoise is one of my favourite colours so when I saw this I didn’t even think before adding it to my cart, it’s the perfect colour for summer in my opinion.
I’ve easily had about a million nail polishes but I’ve never tried any Sally Hansen ones before, now I feel like I’ve really missed out. I love the brush on this nail polish and it really freakin lasts, I think I may need to do some dejunking/restocking of my nail polish stash now.

Burt’s Bees Lip Crayon in Sedona Sands (Full Size)Liberate your lips and unleash intense colour with the Burt’s Bees Lip Crayon. The super creamy Crayon offers your lips full coverage for a showstopper lip colour and is packed full of lip-loving goodness, including Shea Butter, Jojoba Oil and Kendi Oil.£8.99.

Sedona Sands is a beautiful warm, pinky nude shade. It has quite a creamy, soft texture and applies smoothly and easily. It has a little shine to it, which I like as I’m not really a fan of matte lipsticks, I mean why be matte when you can SHINE!
I like that this can be layered for a deeper shade but it doesn’t cake or make your lips feel dry. As someone who generally isn’t a fan of lipsticks, I really like this one and I may look into getting some other shades in the range. I do however wish it tasted/smelled a little nicer.

Bee Good Lift and Brighten Eye Cream (5ml)Revitalise and refresh your eyes with the help of Bee Good Lift and Brighten Eye Cream. This age-defying eye serum works to hydrate, tighten and brighten your eyes while you sit back and relax.£8.00 for 5ml.

This is a very light weight eye cream, it’s really hydrating and great for puffiness. I did notice that after a few uses my eye area was a lot smoother and brighter. I’m quite impressed so far and I want to try more Bee Good products.

Latest In Beauty also very kindly sent me some extra free goodies, which were a really nice surprise…

I’ve yet to try the DHC Mask or the Nanoblur but I am obsessed with my Konjac Sponge. The first time I used it I didn’t get what all the hype was about but after a few uses my skin felt a lot smoother and now that I use it regularly I don’t need to exfoliate as often as I used to.
