I’m 21 25 29 31 (bluggh!) and it’s only these past few years where I’ve actually started to really, truly care about my skin, and it’s made all the difference.
Here are my current favourite skincare products, that I’ve been using for a while now and that really work for me.
Water Wipes – Water Wipes are the only wipe made using just water and a drop of grapefruit seed extract. I like to use water wipes to remove heavy make up before I cleanse my face. They’re ever so gentle and really help get rid of all my eyeliner and mascara.
Soap & Glory PEACHES AND CLEAN™ Deep Cleansing Milk – I’ve never really liked cream cleansers, like the ones you just wipe off, I feel like they leave a residue on my skin and I find most face washes really drying, but with this is the best of both worlds for me. I use my Water Wipes before I use this cleanser because it doesn’t really remove all my eye makeup. I like that it has a fresh scent and really rejuvenates my skin.
Soap & Glory Scrubatomic™ Daily Face Polish – My skin type is essentially dry, it wouldn’t be as flaky as it used to be and I maintain smooth skin by using this face polish every other day. It’s gentle but very effective.
Dearly Loved’s Kiss The Girl Lip Scrub – I’ve tried Lush lip scrubs before and found them way too harsh, it felt like they were cutting my lips, so I sort of gave up on lip scrubs, then Lyn from Dearly Loved sent me some of her Kiss The Girl Lip Scrub to try out, and I was hooked!
It’s made with the best quality Organic Cane Sugar, Grape Seed Oil and Vanilla Extract, the granules are super fine so they get rid of any dry, dead skin on your lips, gently. It tastes really yummy too! I use this once a week and I have the smoothest lips ever.
Soap & Glory Make Yourself Youthful™ Super Serum – Within about two weeks of using this product, I noticed results, I don’t have a lot of lines, but any that I do have were finer, if not gone. My skin is definitely more hydrated and the serum really perks it up too.
Soap & Glory Beauty Sleep Accelerator™ Night & Flight Moisture Miracle – I know it says “Night & Flight” but I use this every morning, every night and on flights too. My skin has never felt better, it looks dewy and is a lot firmer too. But the thing I LOVE most about this moisturiser is that it smells like peaches, it’s so yummy. My better half loves it too, I do catch him smelling my face when he leans in for a kiss, it’s adorable.
Boots Botanics ALL BRIGHT Radiance Balm – I mentioned this product before, I’m just obsessed with it. I’ve been using this after my serum and moisturiser and it makes my skin look radiant. It evens out my skin tone and reduces redness, and gives my skin this lovely pearly glow.
Soap & Glory Smooch Operator™ Lip Butter Balm – I’ve always been an EOS girl when it comes to lip balms and I still love them but find that they don’t last all that long. I was looking for something to put on at night that would last all night so I grabbed Smooch Operator and I’m beyond impressed with it. Within two nights my dry, cracked lips were flawless, well they’re no Angelina Jolie lips, but they’ll do. 😉
