Boots Botanics Haul & Review

I generally like to buy things when they’re offer, so when I needed some new skincare products and my go to brand wasn’t on offer I decided to use that as an opportunity to try some new brands and products.

I had heard good things about the Boots Botanics range and they had a lot of stuff for half price, so I went to my local Boots and sourced some new skincare goodies.

So what did I buy?

Boots Botanics Haul & Review

ALL BRIGHT Purifying Face Scrub – This cleansing scrub contains refining walnut shell to buff away flaky skin and crushed apricot seeds that gently sweep away impurities.

I’m always very fussy about facial exfoliators, most of them usually don’t do much. I think when it comes to scrubs for your face the finer the beads and bits the better they’ll work; and this one was just perfect. It wasn’t too harsh and it gently scrubbed away any dead skin on my face.

I would definitely buy this again and really wanna try the Radiant Youth Microdermabrasion Polish, it sounds fab!

ALL BRIGHT Micellar 3 In 1 Cleansing Solution – My name is Sam and I’m a Micellar virgin, well I was one lol. This was the first time I’ve ever used a Micellar water and honestly, I think it’ll be the last time too.

I usually use gentle wipes to remove the majority of my makeup and then do my regular cleanse, tone and moisturise routine, this cleansing solution is meant to dissolve make up, unclog pores and remove impurities but it barely took my makeup off.  I like that it’s natural and alcohol free but I just personally feel like it didn’t do anything for my skin.

RADIANT YOUTH Super Serum – My skin LOVES serum, any kind, it just soaks it right up. This particular serum is described as an intensive serum that has been scientifically proven to boost luminosity and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and whilst I don’t see that much of a difference in my fine lines, my skin is definitely less dry than usual.

I definitely want to try their Triple Age Renewal Super Serum next, to see which is better,

ALL BRIGHT Hydrating Day Cream SPF 15 – This is marketed as a rejuvenating moisturiser that provides all day hydration and advanced protection from the damaging effects of UVA/UVB rays.

It’s formulated with Hyaluronic Acid, which is proven to immediately boost moisture levels, it improves the skin’s texture to leave it feeling soft and has Hibiscus in it that makes skin brighter looking.

I liked the light texture of this cream, my skin soaked it right up, and I was very grateful to have some SPF when we were on an extremely sunny holiday, I just don’t know if I loved it. My skin didn’t really seem any brighter or more moisturised than usual, I will use up the rest of my tub I just don’t think I’d buy it again.

ALL BRIGHT Radiance Balm – This product, just OMG, it’s a game changer for sure! I’ve never been given so many compliments on my skin before.

I’ve been using this after my serum and moisturiser and it just makes my skin look radiant, brighter and fresher.  It evens out my skin tone and reduces redness so I haven’t been needing to use foundation, which is always a good thing. It gives my skin this lovely pearly glow, I’m just obsessed with it.

The Radiance Balm is usually €8.49, but I got it on offer for €4.24, I think it’s still on offer now just FYI, but I’d easily pay triple the regular price for this, it’s just amazing. Cannot recommend it enough.
