Scentpick for June – Review

I first heard about Scentpick at the end of May and when subscriptions opened early June I straight away subscribed.

You may have noticed already that we are BIG perfume fanatics here at F&B and the chance to have a perfume subscription seemed too easy to sign up to. For £9.99 a month inc P&P (Edit 4.11.16 – new subscriber price is £14.99) you are sent your chosen perfume from a list of six scents. The perfume is 8ml and is enough to last you the month. It’s a great way to test out a variety of perfumes or it’s a handy travel size perfume. I’ve loved being able to pop mine in my handbag.

The six perfumes for June were…

Daisy by Marc Jacobs

She by Emporio Armani

Be Delicious by DKNY

Flowerbomb by Viktor & Ralf

Classique EDT by Jean Paul Gautier

Jimmy Choo EDP by Jimmy Choo

I picked She by Emporio Armani, a scent I’ve never tried before and I’m absolutely in love with it. I’ll be getting a full size one asap.

For July there is a new list of perfumes to choose from and I was split between the FCUK Friction and another Armani scent, Diamonds. A few hours later I got an email from Fragrance Direct for the FCUK Friction 100ml for £9.99 so I bought that there. I’ve signed up to get Diamonds for July.

I really like the scentpick subscription idea but I’m going to make sure I look around for offers before selecting my chosen subscription pick. An 100ml perfume for the same cost as the 8ml is a no brainer. I’m also hoping that in the future the perfumes are labelled as the first one wasn’t and the website has photos of them being labelled. It’s easy enough to make my own but the website images fooled me into thinking this was how they would be sent. The first month the perfume came in the reusable case and wrapped in bubble wrap and I have to admit I am a little worried that a perfume without the casing might not arrive without getting broken… will see soon!

Scentpick send out their subscriptions on the 22nd of the month. I do think that really the months should be that this perfume I’ve reviewed was the July scent and the next one is August. Because by the time the perfume arrives, the month is almost over.
