Candleberry Hot Maple Toddy Candle Review

I was so impressed with my Raspberry Lemonade Simmering Wax Cake Tarts that our friends at Clouds sent me to review (you can read that review HERE) that I was just dying to try out a Candleberry Candle. I spent so freakin long trying to choose a scent from their huge selection, in the end I decided to go for Hot Maple Toddy. I wasn’t feeling too well at the time and it sounded like just what I needed.

Candleberry Hot Maple Toddy Candle Review“Maple honey. Grandma used to cure all ailments with her special cup of warm spirits dashed with lemon juice. The best part was the spoonful of maple honey. And does this candle ever cure your senses! Get ready for the best candle ever.”

I knew as soon as I took the lid off my candle that I was in for a treat. This is a really complex, unique and delectable scent.

I’m not generally a fan or honey or honey scents but with Hot Maple Toddy, it smells more like maple syrup, which I love, with citrus notes from the lemon element, a dash of spices and I’m pretty sure I can detect some booziness in it, which is always good!

Within minutes of lighting my candle I could smell the incredible aroma everywhere, and it quickly filled our home. I was AMAZED! It’s one of the strongest candles I’ve ever had.

These candles burn for 140-160 hours which is crazy good. Remember to keep your wicks trimmed to get the most out of your candle.
My candle is almost done and it has burned so clean and evenly and has had a strong scent throw the whole time. I just LOVE it!

I’ve been raving to Sarah about my candle everyday, even when it’s not burning you can still smell it. I can’t wait to buy a bunch more of these wonderful candles. Thanks so much to Clouds for introducing me to this brand, I’m such a happy bunny.
