I’d been craving raspberry scents for a while, so I was super happy when Essence Candles sent me one of their Black Raspberry & Vanilla candles to try out and review.
The scent is described as…“The delicious fragrance of ripe raspberries with hints of strawberry, sandal, jasmine, vanilla and musk.”
This scent was so strong and luscious. The fragrance of the tart berries are sweetened and mellowed out by the warm vanilla and the jasmine and musk elements made it smell quite rich and luxurious.
Essence Candles are all handmade, from the melting of the soy wax to the adding of the fragrance and the labeling. They take great pride in everything they produce, which really shows.
My candle was a 190ml one and I kept my wick trimmed so I think I got about 30-40 hours out of it.
I was really impressed with this candle, it smelled incredible and the scent throw was quite powerful. It burned clean and evenly too, which is always a great thing and really shows how well the candles are made.
