We’ve told you all about Candywick before but when they got in touch about their new collection, After Dark – I was more than intrigued!
The After Dark collection has After Dark, Oriental Lily, Black Pomegranate and Coconut Essence. I’ve been on a pomegranate lust for some time now and this was probably my choice of the collection. Candywick sent me the Black Pomegranate candle to review.

Our sophisticated version of this rich, sensual fragrance begins with a vibrant spicy accord of pink peppercorn with cardamom, armoise, thyme, frankincense, lime and lemon leading into a heart of clove.
Blended middle notes of this aroma include unique earthiness with patchouli and lily with fruity notes of crisp apple, plum and tart raspberry.
All on a base of amber, tobacco, cedarwood, guaiacwood, cistus and musk”.
Pomegranate Noir by Jo Malone is one of my favourite winter scents, so warming and comforting. This Black Pomegranate Candle is packed full of different scents, I love the fruity tones mixed with the wood and amber. It makes for a very unisex scent which always is a winner in my house. It really is a decadent and sensual smell though, it’s sexy mixed with pure lust. Because of that it would definitely be on my list of candles that definitely improves your mood. 😉
The candles are 12 fl.oz and this beauty got me well over 100 hours burn time. Each of the candles are £16.99 which is extremely good value for money and for the scent too. Amazing! Plus the jar is totally reusable and it comes with a airtight lid too.
This candle is definitely one of my picks for my candle/scent of the year. Absolutely loved it!
