After Sarah raved about her Zax Beeswax candles (see her reviews HERE and HERE) IÂ was over the moon when Zach, the King of Sting, sent me a few candles to try out.
I adore Fall and Winter scents and would quite happily have them burning all year round so the first candle I decided to try was a Frosted Pumpkin 16oz Mason Jar Candle.
Pumpkin is the ultimate Fall fragrance, and when it’s mixed with spicy aromas like cinnamon it makes it such a warm and comforting scent, which we all could do with during the colder months.
Zach describes this scent as…“Fresh top notes of citrusy lemon, leading to middle notes of creamy pumpkin and hints of nutmeg and ginger; sitting on base notes of maple sugar and vanilla frosting.”
I couldn’t really detect any lemon not that was at all a problem because the pumpkin along nutmeg and ginger really popped! Plus the maple and vanilla elements made it smell like a lovely warm and spicy pumpkin cake with lashings of sweet buttery vanilla frosting. I’m actually drooling right now. 😛
I was really impressed with the scent throw and how well and clean the candle burned. I’ve never had any beeswax candles before, I don’t think, well if I did they weren’t as memorable as this candle.
Zax Beeswax candles are made with a blend of beeswax (over 75%) and sustainable harvested all natural coconut oil. I like that beeswax is a harder natural wax and I think it holds more fragrance compared to softer soy waxes. Because the beeswax in these candles is blended with the coconut oil it ensures a perfect burn.
I’m definitely looking forward to trying out more and learning more about beeswax products.
