Last month I spent a fair bit of money on a company that I didn’t do my research on, well actually I couldn’t find much; but you would think that me, the candle / home fragrance reviewer, would have known better, but sadly I fell for all their bright coloured wax and sales spiel.
The products were so poorly made and I was really let down but I learned my lesson. I learned a very big lesson…
Now, when it comes to hauls I’m going to stick to brands that have plenty of amazing reviews online (like on Etsy) and brands that I know I love, brands that I know make amazing quality products. One such brand that I’ve reviewed many times and simply adore is My Dearly Loved.
Lyn’s Candles With Character candles and wax products are second to none and even though I still have some products that Lyn sent me to review, I wanted to buy more!
So what did I buy?
I bought twelve 4oz Candles (you can save some money and buy four candles for $25, so I did that three times) in the following scents…
Fairy Godmother – With a little “bibbidi bobbidi boo”, the Fairy Godmother will have you ready for the ball in no time!
Crisp and sparkling, blended with a bouquet of grapefruit, lemon, orange, and pomegranate. You simply must smell this magical fragrance!
With this scent all the fruity and citrus elements are so perfectly mixed together, so one doesn’t overpower another and they make for such a bright and uplifting fragrance.
Popcorn Cart – As you stroll along Main Street you pass the irresistible scent of fresh popcorn…got to have some!
Buttery popcorn with a touch of sweetness.
It’s so crazy how much this smells like the real thing! The super yummy aroma of freshly popped popcorn smothered in butter with some added sweetness, it’s mouth wateringly delicious.
3 x Mrs. Potts – Brimming with goodness in the Beast’s castle, Mrs. Potts is sure to impress!
Freshly brewed, blackberry tea.
I’m obsessed with this scent so I stocked up, it’s my new go-to de-stressing scent. You can read my review of this candle, HERE.
Flower – From the moment he’s discovered in a patch of wildflowers by Bambi, sweet Flower steals our hearts, if not our noses.
This candle is infused with natural essential oils, including orange, grapefruit, and cinnamon. Wipe out smoke and odors quickly and easily with this invigorating fragrance.
The citrus elements with just a hint of spice make this such a uniquely scented candle and I really look forward to burning it.
Chip & Dale – Chip and Dale have scampered your way, in search of tasty nuts to take back to their home!
Delicious, toasted hazelnut.
This is exactly like nutella but in candle form. YUMMY!
Mickey’s Ice-Cream Bar – Looking for a cool treat while visiting Main Street on a sunny day? Look no further than a Mickey’s Ice Cream Bar!
An irresistible blend of rich chocolate and creamy vanilla.
This brings me back to my childhood and eating ice cream sandwiches on hot summer days. The rich, moist chocolate biscuits soaking up all the sweet, creamy vanilla ice cream, mmmmm.
NEW FOR AUTUMN! Cinderella’s Coach – With a little help from the Fairy Godmother, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped inside of Cinderella’s pumpkin coach on your way to the ball!
A mixture of baked pumpkin and spice.
This smells like pumpkin pie straight out of the oven. It’s a lovely buttery, bakery scent with lots of delicious spicy elements to it.
NEW FOR AUTUMN! Christopher Robin – This candle will have you feeling like you’re taking a walk in the 100 Acre Wood alongside Christopher Robin!
Moist oak leaves, layers of herbs, and musk.
This is going to sound so weird given that the scent is called Christopher Robin, but this like such a sexy, musky and masculine scent. I really think that Lyn should make this into a cologne so I can buy buckets of it for my man!
COMING SOON FOR CHRISTMAS! Mickey’s Christmas Carol – An old fashioned blend of mulled cider and roasting chestnuts.
I’m generally not big into traditional Christmas things or scents but wowza this one is so amazing. You can smell the tart, juicy apples and the blend of spices from the cider and then the chestnuts add a nutty, sugary, sort of caramelized element to it.
COMING SOON FOR CHRISTMAS! Olaf – This scent has the scrumptious, wintery and delightful aroma of Peppermint Bark.
This has such a crisp and creamy scent. The cool peppermint aroma mixed with what I think smells like rich, creamy vanilla ice cream and some chocolate is just so delicious. This makes me want more mint scented products.
Lyn was so super sweet and sent me a new Belle scented candle, cause she knows all too well about my obsession with Beauty and the Beast.
Belle – As she takes a peek into her enchanted mirror, Belle is quite sure that “there may be something there that wasn’t there before”.
A floral bouquet of orange blossom, ylang ylang, jasmine, magnolia, and lilies.
I smelled this candle before I read it’s scent description and was so impressed with it, it just made me “oooh” and “ahhhh” a lot. I was so shocked when I read the scent description, I was like “oh wow that’s a lot of floral elements” and y’all know how I don’t really like a lot of floral scents, but I think the orange blossom really tones this scent down and it also has a sort of powdery element to it which is lovely. It’s light, delicate and very feminine.
I also bought five packs of wax tarts. The wax tarts are 2.75oz of wax and they’re so long lasting, with an unreal scent throw.

Churros – As you stroll along Main Street you notice the smell of sweet cinnamon. It could only mean one thing….churros are nearby!
A blend of fresh baked goodness: vanilla, cinnamon, and sugar.
I LOVE cinnamon but I’ve never actually had churros before, so I’ll say that this reminds me of freshly baked cinnamon rolls, all sweet, sticky, buttery and just so delicious.

Princess Tiana – Princess Tiana knows a thing or two about not judging a book by its cover…or a frog by his appearance!
A delicious blend of sweet peaches.
I love peach scents and wanted to get some simple, no fuss peach wax melts and that what these are. The simple scent of sweet, ripe and ever so juicy peaches.
So now I’m definitely stocked up for a while! Thank you so much to Lyn for being the creative genius that she is and helping me feed my addiction and also for her amazing customer service.
