Regent House Apple Blossom Simmering Granules Review

These were in my June Waxbox and I have to admit to being intrigued. Sam had raved about these to me (she tried Angel Wings) and also as I’d never tried anything like these, I was excited!

There is enough here for many, many hours. The first time I had a more lighter scent because I didn’t use a lot. The second time I used more and wow it was a little overpowering. The good thing is that you can start off with a little amount and then add to it. Just maybe don’t assume you know it all on the second attempt. Oops.

Their website says…

Apple Blossom flowers are very fragrant and scent the May landscape and this fragrance is evocative of spring fading into the promise of summer.

“Simmering Granules” are a natural salt based product with added fragrance for use in burners/diffusers. Simmering Granules are safe, clean and simple to use. No water is required in the well of the burner, just a couple of teaspoons of simmering granules, which will gradually release their scent over several hours. When the fragrance has evaporated, the granules residue can be easily disposed of. If you have never encountered “simmering granules” before, we are proud to introduce to you our best-selling product!

I probably wouldn’t have personally picked the scent but it was great to try the granules out. The scent wasn’t bad, it’s the perfect spring/summer floral scent. It’s fresh, bright and reminds me of the garden suddenly coming to life with colour after the winter. Too much in the burner was too heady for me.

I would look at these scents for trying next from Regent House; Coconut, Jasmine, Mango, Sweet Pea and Very Berry.

Regent House is available through Clouds Online on their website, give them a follow/like on Twitter and Facebook too!
