Another month flies by and another Waxbox arrives to fill my home with new scents and to find out about different brands too. This is now my third Waxbox and for £10 (+£3.95) you can have one of these boxes arrive to you too. One of the other great things about subscribing is that you can cancel at any time – I don’t know why you would want to BUT there are so many subscription boxes with deals that tie you in for longer, this one isn’t like those. Plus ya know, candles!
So anyway, this month…
Pixie Potion from Tarts with a Heart – “Mandarin, green leaves, peach, red fruits, jasmine and rose, with wood and vanilla base notes.”
On a cold sniff it’s quite powerful and I can really smell the rose mixing with the peach. I wouldn’t have picked this for myself scent wise I admit.
If you follow our instagram I have actually bought from them before, full review to follow but I’m super impressed with everything I ordered.
Breezes + Sunshine from Emily’s Candles – “This is an aromatic blend of citrus, fresh marine notes, and summer flowers. Sure to make you feel a sense of happiness and freedom. Breezes and sunshine fragrance begins with top notes of blood orange blossoms and sea waves; followed by rose, and sitting on base notes of sea lily flowers and woody notes”
There are five of these and they are already throwing off quite a scent. Intrigued to see how these melt.
Cool Mint from Bolsius – This has a lovely mint smell, it’s quite a mandle scent and there are a lot of strong fragrances in this month’s box that it was quite calming for my nose. These were purchased I think via Amazon but I’m looking forward to checking out the quality of this brand.
Viva La Juicy from Wax Scentsual – This is the wax scented version of Juicy Couture’s Viva La Juicy fragrance. I am in love!
Vanilla Cupcake from Yankee Candle – Sam put together her Top 5 Yankee Candle Scents recently and I have pretty much decided but then this arrived and made my Top 5 juggle. It might make it or it might not…
Yellow Hearts Tealight Holder – This is so lovely. I saw from other photos that these came in various colours and there was a purple one that I probably would have picked but… I love yellow and in keeping with the summer vibe I am trying to impose on the UK weather it’s perfect.
Strawberry Pop Magik Beanz and Summer Breeze Flip Top Wax Tart from Busy Bee Candles – Both of these have a very strong scent on a cold smell. The strawberry ones are VERY strawberry! I haven’t had any Busy Bee candles in a while, I haven’t been too impressed in the past with them but these are two different and new products so I’m looking forward to trying them out. The Magik Beanz I know are really popular.
This month’s Waxbox was definitely a interesting lot of products for me this month. More reviews to come!
