So when I heard that Scentsy were having a sale, my first thought was “uh oh! Where am I going to put it all?!” Our guest room is quite literally becoming a candle/wax room, where our friends and guests have to climb through hoards of products when they come over. 😛
But lack of room didn’t stop me from buying lots, especially when I heard that they were bringing back one of my all time favourite Scentsy bars, Buckleberry, for it.
Buckleberry – Bursting fresh berries atop a buttery blanket of crumbly coffeecake.
Buckleberry was one of the first ever Scentsy bars I tried back in 2012 and I just loved it, it was an Autumn/Winter scent I think but they never brought it back after that. So when I saw that Scentsy were bringing it back for the sale I knew I’d have to get lots of it. But sadly, I’m pretty sure this means they’ll never ever bring it back again. 😥 So I bought… ten bars!
I love this scent, it’s so unique, very fruity and cakey. Just delicious.
I also got a few scents that I hadn’t tried yet but they all sounded pretty good…
You Go Girl – A lighthearted, girlish fragrance of apples, berries, muguet, and linden blossoms.
This reminds me of a perfume I had when I was a teenager, can’t remember the name of it but it was pink and girly. I have yet to melt this one, but I know I’ll like it. It reminds me of Shimmer a bit, it’s light, feminine and floral.
Central Park Pralines – A decadent confection of rich roasted pecans, buttery caramel, and cinnamon sugar.
I haven’t melted this one yet but I think I like it, it’s very nutty and you can definitely smell the caramel I just hope the cinnamon comes through- when it’s melting.
Flan – Silky custard, dark caramel, and whipped vanilla cream combine for the perfect dessert.
I’ve tried this one and just love it, it reminds me of a buttery biscuit base.
Perfect Oatmeal – A glorious way to wake up: brown sugar oatmeal topped with toasted almonds and dotted with juicy, dark currants.
This one is delicious as well, you can really smell the currants in it. It sort of has a fruit cake sort of aroma.
I also recently found out that Scentsy EU were going to be selling a limited edition US scent called Pink Haze.
Pink Haze – A sweet confection of berries, nectarines and vanilla-laced whipped cream nestled in marshmallow fondant.
Seriously, like how much of Samantha scent is Pink Haze?! Plus, ehhhh it’s PINK! I’m pretty sure Scentsy invented it just for me; so I ordered six bars! I just adore this scent, it’s better than I ever could’ve imagined. So light and sweet, it’s smells like candies and marshmallows. Just delicious and I’m so glad I ordered so much.
I’ve been following all the new Scentsy updates on Instagram and cannot wait to try out lots of the new scents (Apple S’Mores?! Heck yeah!) and oh gosh the new Halloween warmers! I want them all, for like all year round. I’m really excited for September when everything launches and can see myself doing some serious damage. 😀
