When the gorgeous Rozelle “The Indigo Chick” contacted us about reviewing a couple of candles we were more than happy to help out; especially after oooh-ing and ahhh-ing over all the different scents on her website.
I chatted to Rozelle all about candles and man oh man does she know what she is doing when it comes to making them. We also bonded over our love of tall handsome British men. 😉
Rozelle spent a long time researching and testing so she could create candles that she’d proud of.
She was mocked and told that she didn’t need to test so much and that people just wanted candles that smelled nice, but oh no Rozelle wanted to make the best candles she possibly could and believe me, she succeeded in doing that.
Rozelle created candles that burn well, safely and that smell great too. They’re environmentally friendly as well; wicks were chosen so that no wax is wasted and the tins are recyclable/reusable. The candles are made using EcoSoya wax and the labels that are printed on 100% recycled paper and printed with vegetable based inks. She really thought of everything and it shows in her great quality products.
Rozelle remembered my man candle cravings and sent me a Mansion Library scented candle and OMG I’ve never loved a candle more. I imagine it’s what Benedict Cumberbatch smells like…handsomeness mixed with knowledge and musk.

“The fragrance of Leather bound books stacked onto teakwood shelving, with notes of tobacco and musk. Elements of black tea and pepper combine with Sandalwood to give a warm, relaxing unisex scent.” |
How do you review a candle you can’t find a single fault with, I always find it so hard!
It smells insanely good and even when it wasn’t burning I could smell it everywhere, it’s not at all smokey and has been burning perfectly. Flawless.
Rozelle said she wanted my honest feedback and I told her to keep doing what she’s doing, and don’t change a thing…keep making fabulous candles and that I would do my best to make sure the world knows about them. 🙂
There are so many amazing scents and (soy wax melts too!) to choose from from The Indigo Chick that you should just totally get one of each… and check out the Loyalty Chick Scheme too. Free candles!

Wow, I’ve got a huge grin on my face right now! This is exactly why I started making candles in the first place – to make a high quality candle that people would love. So happy to hear I’ve managed that 🙂 Thank you x
