This weather is really annoying me, now I know it’s never exactly a barmy summer here in the UK anymore but it’s nearly July! All I see on the future weather forecasts is more rain! I’m always pretty random about what I like to burn during the year anyway but this ever changing weather is always confusing my scent choices too. This Campfire scent from Whicks N Whacks really helped with one of my “what shall I burn today?” moments.
I’ve always loved fire scents and this one is high on my list of favourites. It’s woody and smoky, it’s very unisex too – the man in your life will love this. The scent isn’t too overpowering which can be off putting with scents like this. I know that the smell of smoky wood is not for everyone. It’s also quite spicy, which I love and it really gives the scent some punch. I’d love to mix this with a marshmallow based scent – now I want smores! Read More
Scent obsessions are big at V&L HQ but especially so in the past month or so. A long standing one for both of us is cherry. These Juicy Sweet Cherry wax melts were sent to me from Whicks N Whacks. You can read all about them HERE and I’ve already reviewed Bee Dylicious too HERE.
I think the heart shapes are really cute and having previously bought from Whicks N Whacks before I love the choice of colours that they put into their products. This juicy sweet cherry is exactly that, it’s a real punch of cherry. It’s not the darkest side of the cherry which I do probably prefer but it’s definitely full of cherry goodness. Read More
I ordered from Whicks N Whacks last year because I’d seen them on Instagram and saw that they had Butt Naked – one of mine and Sam’s favourite scents. When they got in touch recently about sending products for a review I did my already custom squeal. Because I get so damn excited about telling the world about more wax and because there was something I’d been wanting to order… and forgetting for ages!
Now, I had to Google the year and my word I feel old but in 2005… THAT’S ELEVEN YEARS AGO PEOPLE! I digress… in 2005 DKNY launched the first of their Be Delicious fragrances. Back then I was obsessed with New York (although I hadn’t been, now I have been!) and I just thought the packaging was just so perfect and different from the bottles I was used to. I absolutely adore this fragrance and despite trying the others in the range, this is still my favourite. It is definitely more of my spring/summer scent of choice. So naturally I had asked if I could try Bee Dylicious, because I’m obsessed with that scent!
