Home Fragrance Advent Calendars for 2015

11 / 17 / 1511 / 7 / 15

Myself and Sarah LOVE Advent Calendars, we’re still little girls at heart and love the build up to Christmas but over the years we’ve gone from wanting the chocolate based ones (although usually we still get one 😛 ) to wanting more grown up ones, especially those that are loaded with wax goodies!

So we thought we’d share some of our favourites that we found with you…we’ll more than likely end up with a few of these.  😉

Scentsy Autumn/Winter 2015 Haul

10 / 13 / 1510 / 11 / 15

This post is so long overdue! I’ve had my haul since the start of September but actually I haven’t gotten around to trying any of the new scents, but I have set up all of my new warmers.

Scentsy Haul
Man oh man it’s tough trying to get so many products into one compact picture! #WaxAddictProblems

I had been waiting for what seemed like an eternity for the new Scentsy Autumn/Winter Catalogue to come out and I had been saving as well purely so I could do a massive haul and treat myself.

So what did I buy? Read More

Scentsy SALE Haul & Lots of Pink Haze

7 / 28 / 157 / 24 / 15

So when I heard that Scentsy were having a sale, my first thought was “uh oh! Where am I going to put it all?!” Our guest room is quite literally becoming a candle/wax room, where our friends and guests have to climb through hoards of products when they  come over. 😛
But lack of room didn’t stop me from buying lots, especially when I heard that they were bringing back one of my all time favourite Scentsy bars, Buckleberry, for it. Read More

NEW Spring/Summer Scentsy Haul

4 / 18 / 154 / 17 / 15

It happened again. My visa card jumped out of my wallet and magically bought me more Scentsy bars. I think it thinks that my closet full of wax products isn’t quite full enough. 😉

Scentsy Haul.
So what did my naughty visa card buy me?

Berries Jubilee – Juicy, ripe summer berries in a billowy cloud of whipped cream laced with vanilla.
It’s probably no surprise that I chose this scent, I’ve had most berry type scents from Scentsy, but honestly they all pretty much smell the same which at this stage is a bit disappointing. I can’t really get  any vanilla from this and it smells exactly like Love You Berry Much, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but I already have some in my candle closet.  😛

Vanilla Bean Buttercream – Decadent buttercream frosting made with the freshest butter whipped with cane sugar and vanilla extract. So creamy and sweet you will have to lick the spoon!
This may be my new favourite vanilla scent. I especially love that you can smell the butter in it and that it’s not overly sweet.

Bonfire Beach – Toasted marshmallow smoldering over white flint and sandalwood harmonize with salty sea air and ocean spray.
I gotta admit, this was the scent I was most looking forward to smelling and the one I was most let down by. I hoped for more marshmallow in it, but all I can get is a smokey wood type scent. It is nice, don’t get me wrong, sorta sweet, but seriously lacking in the marshmallow department. I guess I expected something along the lines of Fireside Treats by Yankee Candle…

Coconut Flower – Graceful tropical blossoms meet luscious pineapple and the subtle scent of coconut milk in a feminine floral fragrance.
I was really unsure about this scent, because I tend to avoid floral scents because they give me awful headaches, but the pineapple and the coconut milk in the scent description sold it for me. It’s a unique scent, I can’t really smell the pineapple or the coconut milk but I get hints of citrus and the floral element in it isn’t too overpowering which is a good thing.

Coconut Cotton – Sun-warmed cotton, creamy coconut milk, bright citrus, and white sandalwood transport you to a cabana on a tropical beach.
Oh this scent is luscious. Imagine the most fabulous clean cotton/fresh linen scent you’ve ever smelled now throw in some coconut with it…yeah! Sounds fabulous doesn’t it?! Highly recommend this scent.

Red Ginger Flower – The fragrance of a lush Far East garden: fresh-cut pineapple, succulent frangipani, and red goji berries with just a touch of full-bodied sandalwood.
I’ve had my eye on this scent for a while, don’t know why I didn’t buy it sooner, it’s fabulous! It’s zingy, fruity and creamy and the hints of sandalwood really make it pop.  It’s such a unique scent and I would definitely get Red Ginger Flower again.
