Sarah Lou Ltd SALE Haul

We’re big fans of Potters Crouch Candles here at V&L so when I noticed that our buddy Sarah Lou was having a wicked awesome sale, I knew I had to stock up.

Sarah Lou Ltd. is based in the UK and I’m based in Ireland which can mean expensive shipping costs for both parties, so having recently just signed up to AddressPal with An Post (the Irish postal system) I decided to try that out. Basically what it is is, if you live in Ireland and want to purchase from the UK they give you a UK address to use, your shopping gets delivered there and then brought to Ireland and you collect it at your local post office. It costs €3.50 per package, which you pay upon collection, and really that’s nothing compared to regular post or couriers.

So I gave it a go. Sarah Lou sent me a tracking number for the courier she uses and it showed that my package arrived at the UK address I was given this past Friday, then on Tuesday morning I got a text saying my package was ready for collection at my local post office. I was so shocked! It only took three working days!
So if you’re in Ireland and love online shopping than I can’t recommend this service enough, and no this post is not sponsored. I just want everyone to have nice things and not get screwed over on shipping expenses. I’m so happy I’ll be able to buy so many nice things from Sarah Lou all the time now. 🙂

Potters Crouch Blackberry & Amber Candle from Sarah Lou Ltd.

You’ll know how much we’ve become obsessed with Potters Crouch candles. We’re both excited about their new Spring scents too!

When Sarah Lou Ltd sent us both a box of goodies we were obviously delighted. I couldn’t stop smiling at the scents I was sent. Blackberry & Amber was the one I was most intrigued about. I love my fruit scents but I’ve always loved a bit of Amber in the mandle type scents so this definitely took interest!

“A blend of sweet wild blackberries with warm top notes of amber.”

I loved this scent mix, the fruit blackberry mixed with the amber so well. It’s a real unisex scent and it’s perfect for everywhere in the home. Actually I used this downstairs but could smell it upstairs a bit too. Impressive throw for sure. Read More

It’s so hard to believe it’s almost Spring, I dunno about everywhere else but here in Ireland it is FREEZING cold, grey, wet and dull. Generally I’m not one for heat but I’m wishing so hard for just a smidgen of sunshine.

Potters Crouch Cherry Cherry Candle Review from Sarah Lou Ltd

I have always been a bit cherry obsessed. So being sent a candle called ‘Cherry Cherry’ is just doubling my interest, right? Totally!

Cherry Cherry is described as;

“A sweet blend of August heart cherries with a twist of sour crown morello.”

On a cold smell it smells like cherry candy which is the biggest tease if you don’t have anything sweet to kick that craving you now have. When it’s burning… that sweet craving is going to get worse.
