So I was in a shop with a friend recently and we were looking at their range of candles and home fragrance products, she mentioned how she was looking for a “Christmas tree scented candle” for her living room. I told her about how I wasn’t a fan of pine or woody scented candles but she told me that neither was she really but she wanted one purely because she now had a fake Christmas tree and missed the smell of a real Christmas tree. She also wanted to make people think her tree was real purely by having a tree scented candle burning, well at least that’s what she hoped would happen. Pretty genius idea, I can’t really do that because my tree is black and sparkly, so it’s quite clearly fake but I LOVE it.

I LOVE cinnamon scented candles and wax goodies, most people consider it a Winter time or Christmas scent but I personally enjoy it all year round.
According to the aromatherapy cinnamon is an incredible fragrance since it helps with exhaustion and fatigue working directly on the nervous system helping us to calm down, which is very good to know because we all get stressed and worn out from time to time.

Not writing. Not reviewing. Burning candles and generally trying to sort out that thing called life. Still not sorted that last bit but can’t have everything right, right?
So the PartyLite candle… you all know by now that I love Vanilla and mix in some Coconut and I am yours. True story.
Now the smell is gorgeous and exactly what you would expect from Tropical Water but the candle is supposed to be a GloLite candle and it didn’t exactly glow differently to any other candle I’ve ever had. I wasn’t bothered as the smell is gorgeous! I did get a few black wick bits in the wax, I scooped out the big bits but there are a few little stubborn ones. They aren’t noticeable until you need to take a photo! The wicks got chopped down after this photo, making this candle last and last. Read More

A little while ago my lovely boyfriend took me for a trip to the beach, it has been way too long since I had been and he knows how much I love the water, I was totally a mermaid in a past life. Since we got back I’ve been craving that ocean air and everything water related so I figure until I get a chance to go back to the beach I’ll just surround myself with beachy/oceany scented goodies.
