Where is this year going?! Can you believe it’s July tomorrow? Before you know it, we’ll be talking about the C word. Although I am looking forward to July cause it’s my birthday month, which basically means everyday in July is my birthday LOL.
Check out my favourites from June below, there is one thing I really haven’t been liking and it’s the heat! It’s easily a million degrees here in Ireland. I would love some snow.
Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Lip Balm – Another lip balm?! Shocking right? 😛 I got a sample of this in a Feel Unique Pick N Mix and the minute I tried it I was sold. It’s very nourishing and hydrating but what I love most about it is the shine, it looks like I’m wearing the most glossiest lip gloss ever, and it tastes pretty yummy too.
Holos Good Night Body Oil – This body oil is made specifically for night-time use with its soothing, relaxing essential oils and I am all about finding new products that help me relax and unwind.
Holos Good Night Body Oil is a sweet almond based oil infused with a combination of lavender, chamomile and rose essential oils as well as vitamin e. A little goes a long way with this oil, I use a cap full every night and massage it into the soles of my feet and on my pulse points and I sometimes but a few drops in the bath too. It’s so calming and soothing and very moisturising.
MooGoo Milk Shampoo – I’ve been using this shampoo for about three months now, I’m almost done my second bottle and I’ve been so excited to tell you all about it.
I’ve mentioned before about my crazy sensitive scalp, and my really dry hair, it’s hard to find a product that my scalp doesn’t react to and that doesn’t dry out my hair more. With more natural shampoos I can go a few weeks without a reaction, less-natural shampoos I’d get probably get about two washes and then my scalp will go crazy. It’s so annoying.
I bought this shampoo as well as the MooGoo Cream Conditioner and the MooGoo Scalp Cream, I use the Scalp Cream overnight once a week, which helps a lot. The conditioner I wasn’t a big fan of, it didn’t really do much for my hair so I wouldn’t purchase it again, but the shampoo is just the best.
I wash my hair twice. My first wash would be mainly for my scalp and secondly, I work from my scalp to the ends of my hair. It’s a gentle shampoo, so doesn’t foam as much as regular shampoos do. But it cleans my hair, doesn’t dry it out and this past three months is the longest I’ve ever gone without having a crazy itchy scalp, I’ve no itching at all anymore, it’s a miracle.
Instead of using a regular conditioner, I use the Noughty Intensive Care Leave-In Conditioner as well as a few spritzes of Dr Paw Paw 7 in 1 Hair Treatment Styler and my hair has been super soft and frizz free.
Candy Kittens – My wonderful husband picked me up a bag of Blueberry Bliss Candy Kittens, for my jelly deficiency, and I inhaled them! They were so tasty, best jellies I’ve ever had. I went on the Candy Kittens website and bought a few packs, I like having some when I’m working hard and need a quick boost. My favourite flavours are Blueberry Bliss, Sour Watermelon and Peach Fizz. They’re a great summer snack and I LOVE that they’re vegan, I pretty sure that means that’s they’re basically as healthy as a salad. 😉
Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Passiflora Eau de Toilette – We were recently on holiday and I went into a perfume store, there was someone at the entrance spritzing people with Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Passiflora, when they sprayed me I immediately loved it. It smells like passionfruit, citrus fruits and tropical fruits, just really fresh and summery. When I inquired about the price they said it was over €85, as much as I love perfume that seemed like an awful lot of money for a 75ml bottle. But I lucked out because when we were shopping in the Duty Free a couple days later, they had it for €50! I snapped it right up and have been wearing it almost every day since then.
Origins GinZing Energy-Boosting Moisturizer – I got a deluxe sample size of this recently and I’ll definitely be repurchasing. I like to use this in the morning, it feels like a cooling gel, and dries almost instantly, which is great before makeup application. It smells so fresh and citrussy and that helps waken me and my skin up and it gives the perfect amount of moisture.
And last but not least…..THIS….
THIS IS MY JAM! Can’t wait for their 2019 World Tour. Ya girl is gonna be first in line for tickets.
