I think everyone in the beauty blogosphere has seen/heard about how good the Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm. It’s become a cult product to have tried/blogged about and because of its price point I had always been a little wary as sometimes the blogging world isn’t always right about reviews. Is it?
So what is it?
“Perfectly balanced daily cleansing for skin that craves clean.
Benefits of Emma Hardie Amazing Face Natural Lift and Sculpt Moringa Cleansing Balm:
– Thoroughly cleanses and moisturises the skin.
– Helps to purify and minimises the appearance of open pores.
– Revitalising for dull and mature skins.
– Can be used as a rescue balm, i.e. on dry elbows or knees, or as a lip balm.
– Doubles as a soothing mask if left on the skin for ten minutes”
When I saw this in the Feel Unique Pick n Mix offer (just the 5ml sample) I knew that I just had to get it. It was the first item that went into my basket and the first product I tried when it arrived.

I’m one of those people who prefers to remove her makeup using a cream based cleanser like my Garnier one. Then follow up with a second cleanser if needed – if my skin is particularly in need of extra moisture or I’ve been a little heavy with the makeup.

So this wouldn’t probably be an everyday cleanser for me as I’m somewhat lazy with my second cleanse… or what I should really say… my skin won’t need the second cleanse.
I really liked the cleansing balm and found that a little went a long way, so the price point for me would be super value for money. As a cleanser I felt that it worked well, I didn’t use it on heavy make up but it did get rid of any excess left behind. I found my skin felt brighter and felt smoother after using it, this continued to the next day also. I also read it was great to use it as a bit of a face mask, leaving it a little longer on the skin before removing it. I was already impressed so far so you can imagine how I am with it now.
I will be purchasing a full size cleanser soon as although I wouldn’t use it everyday (although I might if it stopped being lazy), the face mask aspect of it is worth it for me. This would be a perfect product for travelling too. We all tend to indulge in a few of the wrong foods when we go away, this would be sure to get your skin back on track. Don’t forget to drink water too!
So this one totally lives up to the blogger hype! What have you tried that bloggers have loved? Did you rate it also?
