On Wednesday evening before myself and my better half headed out for a meal and to a concert I had about twenty minutes before the stores closed and I knew I wanted to go to Lush and into a Yankee Candle store. There was like a five-minute walk between each store so I had about fifteen minutes to get in, browse and buy… CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!
I went into Lush first and I sorta knew what I wanted having discussed it with Sarah at great lengths. We had seen some products online that looked and sounded good but when I smelled them I found a lot of them a bit too floral and most of them had lavender in them which I’m quite sensitive to; too much of it and I’ll get a whopper of a headache. In the end I bought just four products, but ohhhh they’re goodies!

I adore Lush massage bars, they’re so dreamy and they feel amazing. I’ve had a few of them before but I decided to try something new and went for Strawberry Feels Forever. It’s such a girly, fruity scent and so moisturizing.
I just got a few inches cut off my hair because my split ends were wicked bad and I want it to grow so I can be like Rapunzel, I bought Shine So Bright to help the splits stay away. I’ve only used it once but I love the smell, it’s so lemony fresh and the ends of my hair feel super soft, so, so far so good.
The Charity Pot hand cream was an impulse buy; you name a hand cream and I’ve tried it and also had a bad reaction to it, I have the worlds most sensitive hands. So I thought for €1 I’d risk it and try this out and guess what?! NO REACTION! I could’ve cried with joy. Now I won’t have to worry about having eighty year old-looking hands when I’m thirty.
I haven’t used my Yuzu & Cocoa Bubbleroon yet but man oh man it smells delicious!
My next stop was a Yankee Candle store…It was beginning to feel like Supermarket Sweep!
I’d been eyeing up the Metal Hearts range of accessories on-line but they seemed to be out of stock everywhere, so I hoped this store would have them. Unfortunately they only had the illuma-lid so I bought that. Then I saw that they had the new Jelly Beans scented candle and I loved the colour so I had a sniff… YUMMY! Sure one more candle couldn’t hurt. I also picked up a few random wax tarts for myself and a few Loves Me Loves Me Not wax tarts for Sarah, cause I know she loves them and that’s it’s been discontinued so is hard to find. Aren’t I the greatest friend ever? 😉
I can’t wait to try Jelly Beans, I really hope it has a great throw and smells just as yummy when it’s burning.
