Witch City Wicks Obsession!

Yeah that’s right, I said OBSESSION.
Witch City Wicks will have to deal with us forever and ever now; but it’s all their fault really, for making such amazing candles and goodies.

As candle nuts it’s pretty easy for us to fall in love with all candles and it’s very rare (but it happens) where we find a candle that we don’t like, but we honestly LOVED Witch City Wicks’ candles and melts, some of the best we ever had.
It’s taken us a while to do up this second review because we’ve been savoring all of our treats, and we’re kind of sad that they’re almost all gone. Boo hoo hoo.

Cranberry Marmalade Melts “Luscious blend of tart cranberries spiced apples and fresh California orange peel.”
First of all the colour of these was insane; like a gorgeous rich deep purple, just one of the many things we loved and noticed. We expected this scent to be quite sweet but it wasn’t. It was a lovely tart scent, quite fresh and just another scent to add to our list of favourites.

Buttered Rum Melts “Dark rum, butter, sugar and cloves. Perfect for any butterscotch lovers!”
You had us at rum… Such a gorgeous scent, and holy moley did the tarts last a long time. The only way we could think best to describe this was “a real grown up scent” if that makes any sense at all…

Creme Brulée Tea Lights “A traditional base of vanilla custard with a hint of caramelized sugar.”
You already know how much we love vanilla scented things, and this is definitely one of, if  not the best, vanilla scent we’ve ever had.
It was creamy and long lasting, but you could actually get a hit of that caramelized sugar scent which was pretty cool.

Travel Tea Lights
We’ve always said that you should never underestimate how great a simple let well made tea light can be, and these quite frankly blew us away!

Poison Apple  This is going to be one of our top scents of 2013, you seriously need to get yourself some Poison Apple treats from Witch City Wicks.
One tea light filled all of V&L headquarters with an amazing fresh fruity scent, with a kick of spice. Just gorgeous and highly recommended.
Coffee Dark, roasted coffee-bean fragrance with a touch of chocolate, the perfect scent to perk you right up.
Sleepy Hollow We’re holding off on burning this one because it smells that good! It’s one of the most unique scents we’ve ever had, and we keeping smelling it going “oooh what is that?!” and making silly “mmmmmm” noises. Plus its the most beautiful blue green colour, just too pretty to burn. Get one and you’ll feel the exact same way. Yes we really are that sad for wanting to save a candle. LOL.
Lavender Rosemary It’s pretty well known that we’re not crazy about lavender here at V&L and we’d never have thought to mix lavender with rosemary, but together they make a gorgeous sweet and earthy scent, and one that doesn’t give us wicked headaches.
Caramel Pear Tart apples and pears mixed with sweet caramel and maple sugar, with lots of vanilla. You can quite literally smell each note in this gorgeous candle, it’s potent in the most delicious way and so yummy.
Wolf Moon A sort of musky candle with woody notes, it’s also floral with hints of patchouli and geranium. This is what we imagine someone like George Clooney to smell like; manly yet fabulous.
Pumpkin Head Pumpkin, spices and a touch of vanilla, so yummy and was just another of the many candles we wanted to eat.

A million out of ten for everything Witch City Wicks
